
Nancy Hughes is a lifelong learner, a collector of fine art, and a passionate researcher and family historian. She feels lucky to belong to two wonderful families—her biological and her adoptive family.
She has written an award-winning nonfiction book about the business started by her grandfather, Walter Luney, titled Built by Luney Bros. Ltd: Building a City and a Legacy Brick by Brick, Victoria, B.C. 1885–1962
Her current book, Found Art of the Clans Erskine and Holland 1710—1965, is about ancestors of her birth mother’s grandfather, David Erskine Gellatley of Westbank, Kelowna
